Readers Journal #6 Albert Einstein

Dear Mrs. Zrihen,
The title of this book is Albert Einstein and The Theory of Relativity. The author of this book is Robert Cwiklik. The reason I picked this book is because it is a biography on a really famous and smart man that I don’t know much about. The significance of this passage is that it is in the old day a little bit before the 1900’s. There was six things I did before, while, and after reading this book (2 for each). First there was two things before reading this book. One thing I did before reading this book is I skimmed and scanned through about half of it for text feature and some words I probably wouldn’t know. Another thing I did before reading this book was I look through some of the pictures to get a good idea of what I would be reading. Second there was two things I did while reading this book. The first thing I did while reading this book was I captured every paragraph, sentence, action etc. as a scene in my mind. The second thing I did while reading this book is after every page I read I look at the picture and got a better look at what was happening. Last there were 2 things I did after reading the book. The first thing was I thought about everything that I have read as a summary. The second thing I did was I looked online to check the facts in the book were true. The genre of this book is biography, non-fiction. This book is about how Albert Einstein grew up and the amazing inventions he made. This statement was implied. If I was to give this book a title I would keep it the same because explains exactly what the topic says. The essential message in this book is anybody can make any invention by nit judging a book by its cover. A cause in this book would be the teacher being very strict on the students therefore the effect is they listen and do exactly as she says. If would compare the time now to the time back then it would be a rapid change with all of the discoveries and new inventions made. The pattern of organization of this book is cause and effect because Albert made amazing discoveries which lead us to how we are living now. The authors purpose for writing this book would be to inform the reader more about Albert Einstein. The author believes that Albert himself was a great, outstanding, and smart man and the author probably knew a lot about him which made him want to write a book about him. The point of view of this book is first person. I would recommend this book to anyone who would be in to science or loves to learn about how it was in the old days when they first started with technology. The tone of this book would be surprised with how Albert lived and how he did what he did. The mood would be curious from the beginning to the end of the book. (text-to-self) I would relate this to my life because people today are still discovering new invention. (text-to-text) I have never read a book about albert Einstein or like this one. (text-to-world) I could relate this to the world because there was or even is another smart man like Albert Einstein. If I was to rate this book I would rate it a ten out of 10. The reason I would rate it a ten is because it has accurate information and most like exactly what happened in Albert’s life was in this book.
                           Sincerely,
                                    Ofek Peer
